Mr. Rahul Awasthi

Rahul Awasthi is the Head of Operations at Dabur India Ltd, overseeing the entire Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Packaging Development, Corporate Quality Assurance functions around the globe.

An experienced operations leader and a change agent with nearly two decades of extensive experience in the manufacturing and technical area across geographies, Rahul is instrumental in creating beloved and trusted product experiences for millions of Dabur consumers across the globe.

With his extensive background in Strategic Planning, Manufacturing, Distribution, Quality Management, ESG, Procurement, Project Management, Packaging and Manufacturing Excellence, he is responsible for leading Dabur’s global operations, including its eight overseas manufacturing locations spanning from South Asia to Europe; and Middle East to South Africa, besides the 13 manufacturing locations in India.

Rahul is also driving Dabur’s Project Madhu, an initiative to promote beekeeping/Apiculture as a lucrative enterprise for farmers and small and medium entrepreneurs. He is known for his ability to find innovative solutions and build strong business relationships to meet the needs of customers and consumers.

Passionate about sustainability and quality, Rahul has been working to make Dabur’s supply chain and production better and more sustainable. He leads Dabur’s Biodiversity Conservation and Propagation programme, initiating cultivation of rare medicinal plants and herbs on over 7,000 acres of land across India and Nepal, besides spearheading Dabur’s Plastic Waste Management initiative, under which the company is well on track to become the first Plastic Waste Positive Indian FMCG company in 2022-23 financial year.

Mr. Surender Sharma

Surender has over 25 years of experience, having served in a variety of strategic leadership and executive roles, with increasing responsibility across multiple organizations.
Currently is the CEO of Patanjali Food and Herbal Park and also oversees manufacturing operations and E-commerce operations directly.
Before Patanjali, Surender has served as the General Manager of Molson Coors India and Vice president in PepsiCo and managed the End to End Supply chain .His earlier Careers from 1994 to 2008 were with P & G, Asian Paints and Philips in Various Functions.
He holds a Master Degree in Business administration with specialization in Finance and a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering apart from being a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Mr. Deepak Jolly

Deepak Jolly is a leading Public Affairs & Communications, Sales & Marketing professional with a career spanning over 37 years across top Multinational Companies.
Recognized as an industry leader in Policy Advocacy, Crisis Management, Reputation Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Sustainability and Marketing Programs. He has conducted training programs for senior management of corporates, co-operatuves  and various government officials.
In April 2017, he along with his co-founder created Consocia Advisory, a consulting firm which specializes in Reputation Management, Public Advocacy, Government Affairs, Crisis Management, CSR and Business Development. Consocia Advisory is consulting several companies across various sectors such as Venture Capitalists, Technology (FinTech, FoodTech, SportsTech, DefenceTech, e-commerce), Electronics & IT, Food & Beverages, Pharma & Medical Devices, Services, Retail, Packaging, Hotels, Restaurants and Liquor.
With an Advanced Management Program (Batch 69) from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania, Deepak led a group in Wharton for win-win solutions for the issue of rice husk burning in Indian state of Punjab. In his last corporate role, Deepak was responsible for Venturing and Emerging Brands (VEB) in India and South West Asia for Coca-Cola India. In January 2016, he was awarded Best Communicator of the Decade by Public Relations Council of India (PRCI).
Deepak has served on the Boards and Management Committees of four companies in India, starting with PepsiCo (1995-2001), Godfrey Phillips (2002), Bharti Airtel (2003-2005) Coca-Cola India & SouthWest Asia (2005-2017). Also, Deepak is on the Global board of Public Relations Council of India.

He is a Hotel Management Graduate who started his career in the hotel industry as a management trainee and took independent positions for hotel operations early in his career. His strong foundations were made in Hindustan Unilever (1988-1995) where he was Manager for Government Affairs, Corporate Communications and Sales. Deepak has two sons who are working in the US and Bangkok respectively and his wife is a Food Blogger.

Dr. Bharatbhushan Shrikhande

He is a Pharmaceutical Technologist by qualification and aluminus of Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nagpur University, Nagpur.  After completing postgraduation in Pharmaceutics and Research as CSIR Fellow joined the faculty in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, after Teaching for four years joined the industry.  Since 1990 working with the Baidyanath Group.  Currently holding the position of Senior President Shree Baidyanath Ayurved Bhawan Ltd., and Director of the group Companies Siddhayu Ayurvedic Research Foundation Pvt. Ltd. and Baidynath Life Sciences Pvt Ltd.  BKS has over 30 years of experience in Manufacturing and R&D of Ayurvedic Medicines, Herbal Supplements & Cosmetics. Has published 25 Research Papers in National Journals and 5 Research Papers in International Journals.

Mr. Vinit Singh

Vinit Singh is founder Director and CEO of Brij Honey Pvt Ltd, India’s leading exporter and packer of Honey. Brij Honey Pvt Ltd was established in the year 2006. With his extensive experience in Beekeeping, world wide travel to all major honey producing regions of the world and interaction with experts of honey trade makes him preferred choice to become a founder member on board of Indian Honey alliance.
His close knit association with beekeepers in India and association with NGO’s like Lupin Foundation has resulted in development of Beekeepers in the region. Business strategies evolved for Beekeepers augmented growth in number of beekeepers and their income. His contribution to Indian Honey industry has been duly recognised by various platforms by different trade bodies , media houses and state governments.

Ms. Namrata Khanna

A seasoned professional, Namrata Khanna has worn many hats in her 30 years of varied experience. Currently she is the Director – India Honey Alliance, a consortium of stakeholders across the value chain of the Indian honey industry, ranging from top brands, exporters, foundations, scientific experts and bee keepers. Her core strength lies in building multi-level relationships with key stakeholders across government and the private sector. She has expertise in creating a robust ecosystem for advancement through partnerships across industries and a network of communication channels. A strong communicator, she is adept at managing stakeholders across multilevel projects, and aligning them for a common purpose.
Her earlier career spanned companies like British Airways, Arvato Bertelsmann, and has undertaken consultancy projects for UNICEF & Sight And Life, on engagement and training program.

She recently led the much applauded program Eat Right School Program, under Food Safety & Standards Authority of India under MoHFW, where over 35000 schools enrolled in the program. Namrata has also edited & compiled ‘The Yellow Book’, along with managing various programs across platforms, through Stakeholder Management & Outreach. She was also the Jury Member for CII-Face scholarship program for students interested in food technology & nutrition.She has a Masters’ degree in English Literature, alongwith certifications in Marketing & PR followed by a Masters in Business Management from Oxford Brookes University, UK. She is also a qualified International Baccalaureate teacher and educator, having taught children with learning disabilities as well as other students.
